Website and branding

Under Settings, Webshop you set up everything that concerns your webshop itself: from general options and registration to the checkout, the sorting and your branding.

General settings#

  • Set webshop as a static menu: your webshop becomes a menu to browse, without an order button.

  • Show opening hours button: show your opening hours with one button in the webshop.

  • Allow reviews: customers can leave a rating.

  • Redirect website: send visitors from your webshop address to another website, for example your main site.

Warning

The static menu switches off orders completely: consumers can only look, not order.

Registration#

  • Registration is allowed: customers can create an account. This is also needed to earn points with Loyalty.

  • Consumers must log in before entering the website: handy for a closed webshop, for example only for staff or members.

  • Consumers may add a remark: allow remarks on the order and/or per product, and set suggestions for frequently used remarks, so the customer picks them with one tap.

Checkout texts#

Below the total on the checkout page, there is a short checklist that reassures your customer. With Automatic texts (Automatische teksten) on, the webshop puts it together itself based on your settings, for example the chosen pickup time, secure online payment and the notification as soon as everything is ready. Prefer your own points? Turn the automatic texts off and fill them in yourself.

Sorting#

With Product sorting (Sortering producten) you decide how products are sorted within a category. If you choose Set manually (Zelf te bepalen), the order you drag in Product management applies.

Tracking#

Enter your Google Tag Manager ID (GTM-XXXXXXX) to measure visitors and conversions on your webshop with your own tags.

Branding#

At the bottom of the same screen, you decide what your webshop looks like:

  1. Choose your logo. It appears at the top left of your webshop.

  2. Choose a cover photo: it forms the background in the header of your webshop.

  3. Choose your main colour: it determines the coloured accents throughout the webshop, such as the header and the order button. Choose the colour of your brand identity.

  4. Choose your secondary colour: a second accent colour, for example for the choice buttons.

  5. Click Save.

The Branding screen: choose your logo, cover photo and colours, and see on the right how your webshop will look.

Your own texts#

Via Settings, Texts you adjust the default texts that your customer sees:

  • The text in the confirmation e-mail after an order.

  • The text for a delivery order without online payment, for example: "Please pay the courier with the exact amount in cash."

  • The text for a pickup order, with or without online payment.

  • The banner that visitors see when they enter your webshop. Handy for a holiday notice or a new product.

Confirm every change with Save.

Need more? The landing page#

Do you want a full mini-website with photos, a map, social media and promo blocks in front of your webshop? The landing page builder with ready-made blocks exists for that. You can read how to set it up in Landing page.
