Frituur Janneman: "We save a lot of time. Especially when it's busy."

Kim and Jan have been running Frituur Janneman for a year now. They took over the business and rebuilt it with fresh preparations and their own suggestions. As in any chip shop or snack bar, peak times are hectic. Customers at the counter, phones ringing non-stop and online orders coming in all at once. It's all part of the job, but it requires a lot of organisation.

The snack bar webshop also helps to boost sales. For certain products, a prompt automatically appears asking the customer if they would like to add a jar of sauce. These small suggestions encourage customers to purchase additional items.

"We sell a lot more jars of sauces," says Kim. "These are things that people would otherwise simply forget."

The online ordering system asks the question at the right moment, without anyone at the counter having to pay extra attention to it. It is a small intervention that makes a visible difference in turnover in the long term.

Greater control during peak times

What matters most to Kim and Jan is how they feel during busy periods. They have more control over the schedule and fewer surprises in the cash register system. Orders come in in a structured manner, are processed correctly, and match their preparations.

“It saves us a lot of time and improves our workflow,” says Kim.
