The Unipage digital till works for every hospitality business, regardless of size or type. Whether you run a chip shop, a brasserie, a restaurant or a café: the system adapts to your way of working.
Chip shop and snack bar: fast checkout with QR or PIN, orders sent directly to the fryer.
Restaurant and brasserie: table plan, coursing, kitchen screen and reservations in one system.
Café and bar: fast drinks tickets, split bills, snack menu.
Bakery and sandwich bar: daily specials, combo deals, receipt with allergen information on the till screen.
Pizzeria and takeaway: own webshop for takeaway orders, direct connection to the digital till.
Unipage is more than a digital till. The platform combines the iPad till with a self-order kiosk and your own webshop, so customers can order at the table, at the kiosk and via your website. The same menu, the same prices, all managed from one place.
Less waiting: customers order themselves at the kiosk without queuing at the till.
Average order value 20% higher via self-order kiosk compared to counter orders (Unipage internal data).
Commission-free takeaway via your own webshop, without paying Takeaway or Deliveroo.
One menu to manage for till, kiosk and webshop simultaneously, with no double entry.
In Belgium, a Registered Cash Register System (GKS) is mandatory once your annual revenue from on-site meals exceeds €25,000. From 2026, GKS 2.0 applies: the updated version of the white cash register that also works on an iPad or tablet.
In practice, GKS 2.0 means you no longer need to purchase a fixed touchscreen PC. A certified iPad or Android tablet is sufficient, saving up to €1,500 in hardware costs compared to a traditional GKS installation.
Every receipt gets a secure digital copy with the Belgian tax authority (SPF Finances).
The Fiscal Data Module (FDM) automatically records all transactions.
Unipage is GKS 2.0 certified and also supplies the required FDM.
You choose your own hardware: iPad, tablet or totem kiosk.
Not sure yet whether a digital till is the right choice for your venue? Here are the key differences at a glance.
Hardware: traditional till requires a fixed touchscreen PC; Unipage digital till runs on an iPad or tablet.
Menu changes: traditional systems need a technician; with Unipage you update the menu yourself in real time.
Self-order kiosk: not included in traditional systems; built into the Unipage platform.
Webshop: not possible with a traditional till; built into Unipage.
GKS 2.0 certification: depends on the supplier for traditional systems; Unipage is fully certified.
Support: via an external technician for traditional tills; local Belgian support from Unipage.

A digital till for hospitality is an iPad or tablet with till software that lets you take orders, process payments and manage your menu. In Belgium, this system combined with a Fiscal Data Module (FDM) is the Registered Cash Register System (GKS), which is legally required for hospitality businesses with annual on-site meal revenue above €25,000.
In Belgium you are required to use a GKS once your annual revenue from on-site meals exceeds €25,000. Takeaway sales and drinks do not count towards this threshold. New installations from 1 July 2026 must immediately comply with GKS 2.0. Over 94% of Flemish hospitality businesses with meal revenue above the threshold already use a registered cash register system.
Yes, especially since GKS 2.0. Before 2026, a fixed touchscreen PC was required as GKS hardware. From 2026, any certified hardware is permitted, including an iPad or Android tablet. This saves up to €1,500 in hardware costs compared to a traditional GKS installation with a fixed PC.
A digital till for hospitality costs on average €50 to €150 per month for the software, plus hardware and any FDM rental. Standard market providers charge €200 to €400 per month for the full till stack. At Unipage the subscription is all-inclusive: digital till, self-order kiosk, webshop and digital signage in one package, built specifically for the Belgian market.
Yes. The Unipage digital till is connected as standard to the self-order kiosk (Unikiosk). Customers order at the kiosk themselves, the order appears immediately on the kitchen screen and in the till overview. Hospitality businesses using a self-order kiosk report on average 50% less waiting time at the counter and a 20% higher order value per transaction (Unipage internal data).
