# Delivery

With the delivery module, you let customers order for delivery to their home. You decide where you deliver, what it costs and at what times.

## Activating delivery

1. Go to [Settings, Delivery](https://beheer.unipage.eu/deeplink/instellingen/delivery) on the management page.
2. Switch on **Enable delivery** (Bezorgen inschakelen). Your customer can then choose between pickup and delivery. If you only want to deliver, also switch on **Make delivery mandatory** (Bezorgen verplichten).
3. Set a global **minimum amount** for deliveries. If a customer orders too little, they get a notification about it.
4. Tick the **delivery days**.
5. Click **Save**.

## Delivery days and different delivery hours

For each day, you decide whether you deliver and during which hours:

- Tick **Delivery at** for every day you deliver.
- Without different hours, your regular time slots also apply to delivery. If you only deliver within certain hours on a given day, tick **Different delivery hours** (Afwijkende bezorguren) for that day and set the time frame, for example from 11:00 to 13:00.
- Several windows on one day? Click **Add time frame** (Tijdvak toevoegen), for example for both a lunch and an evening shift.

## Where do you deliver? Five types of conditions

For each delivery condition, you choose a type that determines where you deliver:

*For each delivery condition, choose a type: Circle, Polygon, Postcode, Fixed value or Free field.*

- Click a condition to
create it

- **Circle**: delivery to an address within a radius around your business. Choose the **starting point** (your own address by default) and the radius. Your customer enters their address and immediately sees whether it falls within the zone.
- **Polygon**: delivery to an address within a zone that you draw on the map yourself. Click **Draw polygon**, place at least three points and close the shape via the starting point. You can simply drag points afterwards, and you add corners via the white points. Useful when a circle doesn't fit, for example up to a river or a ring road.
- **Postcode**: a region or area based on postcodes, a single postcode or a range (Dutch postcodes with letters work too). For each postcode, you set the cost and time.
- **Fixed value**: a named point, for example an office number or a company. The customer chooses the location at the start of the order.
- **Free field**: the customer types in a location themselves, with no check. Only recommended for closed webshops, for example for staff.

## How the costs work

- The delivery cost is added on top of the order amount.
- The delivery cost does not count towards the minimum amount for delivery.
- For each zone or condition, you set a threshold amount above which the delivery cost is waived. Many customers order just a little more to get free delivery.

## When do you deliver?

For each delivery condition, choose how the time works:

- The customer chooses a time from your [time slots](https://unipage.be/en/support/webshop/opening-hours-and-availability/timeslots). If you set [different delivery hours](#delivery-days-and-different-delivery-hours), your customer can only choose times within those windows.
- A **fixed time** per delivery condition: set the hour and how many minutes in advance the order must be placed.
- No time: the customer only chooses a day.

> **Tip:** Do your settings for pickup and delivery differ a lot? Consider a separate webshop for each option, as that keeps both simple. [Contact us](/nl/contacteer-ons) to look into this.
