# Holiday

Are you closing for a while? Set a holiday period and your customers can't place orders for pickup or delivery during that period. A message with the details automatically appears on your webshop.

## Setting a holiday period

1. Go to [Settings, Holiday](https://beheer.unipage.eu/deeplink/instellingen/holiday) on the management page.
2. Click **Add holiday period** (Vakantieperiode toevoegen).
3. Choose the **first day** and the **last day** of your closure.
4. By default, a period runs from 00:00 to 23:59. If you're only closed for part of the day, adjust the start and end time via the clock icon.
5. Save. Done: your webshop shows the notice automatically during the period.

## Closed for just one day?

Choose the same date as the first and last day. You can also close for half a day, with a custom start or end time.

## Good to know

- You don't need to change anything back after your holiday: after the last day, everything automatically works as normal again.
- Weekly closing days don't belong here but in your [opening hours](https://unipage.be/en/support/webshop/opening-hours-and-availability/opening-hours).
- If you work with [available days](https://unipage.be/en/support/webshop/opening-hours-and-availability/available-days), be aware that this setting takes priority over your holiday periods.
