Loyalty is the Unipage points system: your customer automatically earns points with every order and sees their balance grow on the [Webshop](https://unipage.be/en/support/webshop), in the app and on the [Unikiosk](https://unipage.be/en/support/unikiosk). Once they have enough points, a reward unlocks for a next order. No more paper stamp cards: the points are linked to the customer account, not to a card that stays behind in the car.

## How it works

- With every purchase, the customer automatically earns points. How many is determined by your configuration.
- By default, points are calculated on the total amount of the order. You can also limit earning to certain products or categories, for example, rolls but not drinks.
- Once the customer has enough points, a reward unlocks: a fixed discount in euros or a percentage discount.
- Your customer must order with an account: anyone who checks out as a guest earns nothing. So open up registration on your webshop.

## The configuration

Under [Settings, Loyalty](https://beheer.unipage.eu/deeplink/instellingen/loyalty) (Instellingen), you first choose the **type of loyalty programme**:

- **Points card**: a digital loyalty card. Customers earn points per order and exchange them for rewards.
- **Stamp card**: customers collect stamps and get a reward when the card is full. You design the card in your own style.

*The stamp card as your customer sees it: six stamps collected, four more to go until 10% discount. Personalise the colours, the stamps and the reward completely to suit your own business.*

- Personalise your stamp
- When the card is full,
your customer gets a gift

With a points card, you set how points are earned: **points are earned per block of**, for example, 10 euros, and the **number of points** per block, for example, 1. If a customer spends 50 euros, they get 5 points. Amounts are rounded down.

Then you build your **rewards**. You can create several, each with:

- **Points needed to redeem**: from how many points the reward unlocks, for example, 15.
- **Reward type** and **reward value**: for example, a discount of 10 percent.
- **Applies to**: for example, the entire order.
- **Reward text**: an optional title and description, visible on the webshop and on the POS, for example, "Free dessert". Without a title, we automatically show the points and the discount. With **Translations** (Vertalingen), you translate the text for customers who speak other languages.

## Earning when redeeming

By default, an order in which a reward is redeemed does not earn new points. This way, a customer cannot earn and redeem on the same order. Do you want every order to count towards the next reward? Then turn on the Earn when redeeming switch under Settings, Loyalty.

If the switch is on, the customer also earns on an order with a redeemed reward. The points are calculated on the amount they pay after the reward's discount, with the same blocks as usual. For example, if a customer redeems a reward of 5 euros on an order of 55 euros, they earn on 50 euros: 5 points with a block of 10 euros. With a stamp card, the same applies to stamps. This works on the webshop, in the app, via QR and at the POS. In the webshop, the customer sees at checkout how many points they earn with that order.

## Earning on certain products

By default, a customer earns on every product in their order. Do you only want to give points on certain products, for example, rolls but not drinks? Then, under Settings, Loyalty, choose what to earn on at **Earn points on** (with a stamp card: **Earn stamps on**):

- **Entire order**: every product counts. This is the default setting.
- **Specific products**, **Specific category** or **Specific tag**: only those products, that category or products with that tag count. The same choice as for a reward on specific products.
- **Other (advanced)**: combine several rules, for example, a category plus a few individual products.

Only the products that match your choice then count towards the blocks. If a customer orders a roll for 8 euros and a drink for 2 euros, and you only earn on rolls, they earn on 8 euros. A discount on the whole order (a discount code or a promotion) is counted proportionally: with a 10 percent discount on that order, they earn on 7,20 euros. A discount on a product itself is deducted entirely from that product.

This applies on all your channels: webshop, app, QR and POS. In the webshop, the customer sees at checkout how many points they earn with their order, and the POS receipt shows the same number.

## Earning points on online orders

- Points are awarded immediately once the order is placed and paid, on the webshop, in the app or via QR. No POS is involved.
- The points are linked to the account used to order. Anyone who checks out as a guest earns nothing.
- If the customer redeems a reward, they earn no new points on that order by default. With Earn when redeeming on, they do earn, on the amount after the reward's discount.
- Points cannot be combined between two accounts: a customer is unique per e-mail address. Do you like to earn together at home? Then use one shared account.

## Following up per customer

Under [Customers](https://beheer.unipage.eu/deeplink/klanten) you follow everything per customer: the current points balance, the transaction history and the redeemed rewards. You can also add or correct points manually there.
