# Introduction

unTill is a POS system for the hospitality industry. Unipage supplies, installs and supports unTill: from the first setup to everyday questions about products, prices and users. In this section, you'll find guides for the most common tasks in the unTill back office.

## Opening the back office

You manage almost everything in the unTill back office. You can open it in two ways:

- Via the **shortcut** on the desktop of your POS.
- In unTill via **Manager**, with the button **'Indien u naar de Back-Office wenst te gaan, druk hier.'** ("If you want to go to the Back-Office, press here.")

Select your database at the top left, enter your login details and click **OK**.

> **Tip:** Connect a keyboard to your POS before you start working in the back office. It's a lot easier than the on-screen keyboard.

> **Good to know:** The screens in these guides may differ slightly from your version of unTill. The steps stay the same.
