# Scheduling orders in advance

With **Schedule order (Plan bestelling)**, you enter an order in advance and the POS automatically sends it to the kitchen at a later time. Handy for phone pickups, peak times or orders you want to have ready.

## How to schedule an order

1. Tap the lightning bolt icon on the POS.
2. Choose **Schedule order**.
3. Create the order as you always do.
4. Choose the time when it should go to the kitchen, and confirm.

The order is not sent straight away, but is sent automatically at the time you chose. You can find all scheduled orders under **Orders**.

> **Warning:** Check the chosen time carefully before you confirm: at that moment, the order is sent to the kitchen automatically.
