# Updating Unipos PLUS

If you use the Unipos PLUS app on Windows or Mac, you look for a new version yourself on the PIN page.

## How it works

1. Go to the PIN page, the screen where you choose a user.
2. Tap **Check for updates** at the bottom right. The till looks for a new version (**Checking for updates**) and downloads it right away (**Downloading**).
3. When the update is in, **Update downloaded** appears. Tap **Restart & apply update**. Unipos PLUS closes and starts again with the new version.

If there is no newer version, the till shows **No update found**: you are on the latest version. Tap **Close** to go back.

> **Tip:** You choose when to restart. If you tap **Close**, the downloaded update stays ready. Unipos PLUS applies it the next time the till closes, so you never have to restart in the middle of service.

### I cannot find the Check for updates button.

The button is only on the PIN page of the Unipos PLUS app for Windows and Mac.
