# Order hours per order option

With order hours, you can for example let the kiosk offer eating on site until 19:30, while takeaway stays open all day. Outside the hours, the button turns grey. A guest who was already ordering can still finish their order within the completion time.

## Set up

1. In the management page, click **Kiosk scherm** in the navigation bar.
2. Choose the **Introduction screen** tab.
3. Under **Show on site**, use **Beschikbaar vanaf** (available from) and **Beschikbaar tot** (available until) to enter the hours during which eating on site is allowed. The fields only appear when the switch is on. Leave a field empty if that limit does not apply.
4. Repeat this under **Show takeaway** for takeaway.
5. As soon as one of the two has hours, **Afrondtijd lopende bestellingen** (completion time for orders in progress) appears. Enter the number of minutes (default 15, maximum 120).
6. Click **Save**.

## What the guest sees

Within the hours, the guest chooses the option as usual. Outside the hours, the button is grey, both on the welcome screen and when switching order option on the overview. Below the button, you then see **Available from** with the time the option opens again today, or **No longer available**.

A guest who chose while the option was still open can pay until the closing time plus the completion time. If that time has passed, the kiosk does not place the order. The guest gets a message and can switch to the other order option if it is open, or go back.

> **Tip:** Leave **Beschikbaar vanaf** empty if the option should be open from midnight, and **Beschikbaar tot** empty if it may stay open until midnight. If both fields are empty, the option is always open. If you enter a from-time that is later than the until-time, for example 10:00 to 01:00, the window runs past midnight.

> **Warning:** The kiosk only reads new hours the next time it reloads its configuration. In the kiosk settings, tap **Reload products/configuration**, or restart the kiosk. The hours follow the clock of the device: if the time there is wrong, the button opens or closes at the wrong moment.

### The button stays grey while it is within the hours.

Check the clock and the time zone of the kiosk. The kiosk compares the hours with its own time. Then refresh the configuration, so the latest hours are on the device.

### A guest was already at the payment screen when the closing time passed.

The order can still be completed within the completion time. If that time has also passed, the kiosk offers the other order option if it is open, or the guest goes back.
