# VAT receipt printer (Unipos PLUS 1.4.20)

Good news for users of the white POS terminal! As of **Unipos PLUS version 1.4.20**, the POS will no longer block when VAT receipts cannot be printed due to a printer connection interruption or a printer issue (e.g. out of paper, no power, etc.).

Please note that this does **not** remove the obligation to issue a VAT receipt. It remains extremely important to resolve the issue as quickly as possible to avoid fines. In the meantime, the POS can continue operating in the store. A warning message will appear on the screen to alert the user.
