# How does ordering with a QR code work?

## The customer gets to see an interactive digital menu

After scanning the QR code, the customer will be shown your interactive digital menu behind a special URL. Using this special URL it is very easy for your customer to place an order.

## The customer confirms the order

The order can be completed (and optionally paid) without the intervention of a waiter. After the order has been placed, it will appear in your Unipage application.

An optional thermal receipt printer can be paired to the app

With an iPhone you simply scan the QR code using the camera app and tap the notification that appears. With an Android phone you scan the QR code using Google Lens and the digital menu will open.

## **The customer will scan the QR code with his smartphone**

Every modern smartphone has a built-in QR code reader nowadays - without the need of installing a third-party app.

## **Open the order**

With a simple tap you can open the details of an order.

## Add QR codes in a split second

A QR code is the ideal replacement for your classic menu.

In your [admin page](https://beheer.unipage.eu/) you can add QR codes per table under 'settings' -> 'digital menu'. After you've created the QR codes, you can print a beautiful poster or sticker with ease.
