# How does ordering with a QR code work?

## **Add QR codes in seconds**

A QR code can be the perfect replacement for your traditional menu.

In your [**dashboard**](https://beheer.unipage.eu/login) under **Settings → Digital Menu**, you can add a QR code for each table.

Then simply print beautiful Unipage QR codes so your guests can easily place table orders.

## **The customer scans the QR code with their smartphone**

All modern smartphones have a built-in QR code scanner, no app required.

**Using an iPhone:**

Scan the QR code with the Camera app and tap the notification that appears.

**Using an Android device:**

Scan the QR code with Google Lens, after which the digital menu will open.

## **The customer sees the digital menu**

After scanning the QR code, the customer is redirected to a special URL where your digital menu appears. From this menu, they can place their order with ease.

## **Placing QR-code orders**

The order can be confirmed without any staff involvement (and optionally paid online). Once confirmed, the order will appear inside your Unipage application.

With a single tap, you can view the order details. Optionally, tickets can also be printed through the app.
